I had lunch here today with my Dad, who is visiting for two weeks. I wanted to get the water tank in the picture, as before, because I like these urinals that have the plumbing exposed. And a head’s up: my Dad and I are spending the weekend in Belgium, so there won’t be posts for a couple of days. But I’ll have exciting stuff to post when I get back!

I was in Anstruther when both girls informed me that they had to go potty immediately. The coffee shop I often go to was closed, so we used the public toilet instead. I probably wouldn’t have visited this toilet otherwise — it cost 30p to use — but it was an emergency.

I was in Glasgow for the reunion concert of the (reformed) Specials. Great, great show. I was expecting a large venue, but it was about the size of the Smith back in Geneva, just minus the chairs. It was a sold out show, so I was extremely lucky to snap this pic of the urinal before the next deluge of drunks in their late 40s stumbled in.

Yeah, that is the ladies room; the first cross-over of the year. It smelled nicer than the mens toilet, but it wasn’t any cleaner.

Another day in St Monans, another photo of the toilet in the community cafe. But oooo look how arty it is!

These urinals have a rather interesting design: coming out rather narrowly at the bottom, but with an upper ‘hood’ at the top. I used an even more interesting urinal at a pub later in the evening, but I’m using this one for today since I plan on going back to the pub but will probably not return here (especially since they are taking the veggie haggis off the menu).

I like the lighting and tiles in here, and I like this picture because the urinals on each side are just bumping into the frame.

The mens room at the train station was closed for cleaning, so we were directed to the ‘night toilet,’ which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
